CALEDONIAN BACKPACKERS is one of the most popular hostels around- so it is advisable that you make your reservation well in advance of your arrival in Edinburgh, particularly if you plan to come in a group or prefer a private room. In the interests of security, all guests must produce Government Issued I.D. such as passport, photo driving licence or ID card to check in. A student card will not be accepted.

To make a reservation you will need to supply us with your credit card details, which we will then pre-authorize for validity. You will not be charged at this point - your card is used as a guarantee only. Upon check in you can pay in Pounds Sterling, Sterling Travellers Cheques and of course with your credit card.

Once you have completed the reservation form, please check all the details carefully before submitting, as this will enable us process your request quickly.

The arrival time that you give must be the latest arrival time that you will arrive at the hostel.

If we are able to offer you the type of accommodation you require you will receive a confirmation letter. Please ensure that you read this carefully, as it will outline the details of your reservation. Contact us immediately if there are any errors.

In the confirmation letter you will also find useful information on how to reach the hostel from all points of arrival in Edinburgh.

Please note that until you receive confirmation e-mail your reservation has not been processed. You should contact us again (by e-mail only) if you have not heard from us within 48 hours.
